Indoor Convention Space

With a total of 32,000 square feet of multi-use, indoor space, the venue can be configured to meet your needs. Our 21,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom features an expansive, column-free design perfect for conventions. Ample pre-function space allows for smooth event check-in and registration. Multiple outdoor patios offer guests the chance to step outside for breaks between sessions. The spacious loading dock with direct room access allows for easy setup and breakdown.

The Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center also includes five smaller meeting rooms, ranging from 425 to 1575 square feet. All of these spaces can be configured to meet your event specifications as most have the capability to be divided via airwalls. Our expert staff will assist you with room setup, diagrams, and design.

Outdoor Convention Space

The convention center is also home to several outdoor terraces as well as the impressive Bayview Plaza, a massive 30,000-square-foot outdoor venue. This area is equipped with electricity and water and provides additional space for large events or conventions that want to take advantage of the fresh air from the Gulf of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay. The center also features an additional 128,000 square feet of flexible outdoor space for a variety of event needs.

Convention Catering

For any and all conventions, the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center offers a full suite of catering services provided by award-winning food purveyors ARAMARK. Led by Executive Chef Lara Robidoux, the culinary team creates innovative menus that are appealing to the eye and will captivate the palate.  Energize your guests with an assortment of delicious food and beverage options, from snacks and coffee to buffets and receptions.
